Sorry the lack of activity lately… I am working a lot for the next few weeks at a warehouse and I think that will take the most of my energy, but Fabulat will be back soon with many new great listening… I have Just returned from Munich where I vas participating in a exhibition: Link to pictures

New sound released at fabulat:

Simon Longo [DITHERNOISE] / DavideTidoni (...The initial idea for this work came out from

experimentation with synaesthesia, and the possibilities to render the effect of a sound sculpture

made of synaesthetic colours and shapes. The work was

essentially programmed for a live gig, and its unique performance took place only once during a

night organised to raise founds pro tsunami victims....)

Release 5^th of May 2005

I am happy to announce a new release that will take place the 5^th of May at Fabulat. The artist is

Simon Longo, more news later about this. I have also added an old project from a workshop in

Bergen (2003). The project was originally collaboration between Petri Henriksson, Roar Hatteland,

ŲysteinDahlstrųm and me. The added audio from the project is the one I made.Sorry the lack of

activity the past weeks. I have been occupied with looking for a new apartment (I have now bought

one in Bergen), and the last week I unfortunately have been sick. But Fabulat is still here.

100 visitors have downloaded thMenzel EP -longstring- since it was released last week. Here

is some news from Sweedish Newspaper: Corren Thanks to Wolfgang Menzel for his work with the EP,

and thanks to al the great feedback from our visitors!

EP- Arne Bakke - indz:

A project from 2004, Arne Bakke"indz" is added to Fabulat, with cover to print.

EP- Wolfgang Menzel- Longstring:

This longstring project has been going on for one year now and is still vibrating. It does not

need any instrument, one string is a music instrument by itself. Outdoors, tensed between

trees or whatever- soundreflections will arise from it by the slightest tuch of a hand or the wind.

This wave architecture is threedementional, neverending resonance, from the early morning

until late night: zeromotion.

The Net- EP is added at thesoundpage

Fabulat presents one track with Kanagawa (Bergen- Norway). This is recommended listening!sound

A) 5 tracks with tom thode are added at the sound page. This project is a part of a larger

found sound project, using sounds from around Albuquerque +++

B) A net-EP release with Wolfgang Menzel will soon be ready for Fabulat. (more news about

MihaCiglar is added to the 2005 program at Fabulat. Go to the sound page and click on his name

and a new window with his web will appear. There you can listen to his great work.

Happy New Year!

The next presentation of artists in a program at fabulat will be in week 3. Some of the program will be out

before that, so please check out fabulat.com before week 3 also. This year I hope to make a forum where

you can post announcement about concerts, discuss sound and music, ask for help with your projects, etc...

I also hope to have some Live shows with fabulat in Bergen/ Norway... More news about this later...
